Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel is pleased to announce its participation in Art Collaboration Kyoto, in a joint presentation with Tomio Koyama Gallery. The booth brings together works by Anderson Borba, Ernesto Neto, Gokula Stoffel, Marina Rheingantz, Hiroshi Sugito, Antonio Társis, and Erika Verzutti in dialogue with a selection of artists from Tomio Koyama Gallery.
Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel’s presentation brings artists from different generations of the program into a common setting. Ernesto Neto and Hiroshi Sugito are represented by both Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel and Tomio Koyama Gallery; their presence in the selection reflects the galleries’ ongoing relationship. They are shown alongside Borba, Stoffel, Társis, Rheingantz, and Verzutti, contributing to a group presentation that introduces the breadth of the gallery’s program to audiences in Kyoto.
Borba, Stoffel, and Társis represent a younger generation within the gallery’s program, while Rheingantz and Verzutti are established artists whose work has been integral to its history. Shown as part of one cohesive selection, each artist maintains a distinct presence within the booth, together offering a snapshot of the gallery’s current program. The selection is deliberately compact, allowing individual works to be encountered in relation to one another.
Additionally, Efrain Almeida and Ernesto Neto will each present a special installation in the fair’s Intersections sector.
