On occasion of Art Basel Paris, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel brings together six artists central to our program: Leda Catunda, Ernesto Neto, Erika Verzutti, Luiz Zerbini, Marina Rheingantz, and Tadáskía. Each artist is represented by a focused group of works conceived as a small exhibition in its own right. This concentrated format gives each practice room to unfold, tracing connections across different media, materials, or periods.

Marina Rheingantz’s paintings are shown alongside a tapestry, Luiz Zerbini’s paintings are paired with monotypes, and Tadáskía presents drawings and photographs. Erika Verzutti’s reliefs and freestanding sculptures bring her exchanges between drawing, painting, and sculpture into view, while Ernesto Neto’s works explore structural possibilities in organic materials and corten steel. A new work by Leda Catunda accompanies historical pieces from the 1990s, opening a dialogue across several decades of her practice. Within each grouping, these differences reveal how an artist’s vocabulary develops through changes in technique, support, and scale.

Together, the six artists reflect the breadth of the gallery’s program through works grounded in material experimentation, sensorial intensity, and the reinvention of organic form. The tactile surfaces of Catunda and Verzutti connect painting with the physical presence of objects, finding affinities with Neto’s biomorphic constructions. Landscape provides another point of contact: Zerbini’s chromatic elaborations and direct impressions of vegetal structures meet Rheingantz’s painterly analogies to sedimentation, erosion, and atmospheric change. Tadáskía’s “apparitions”, as the artist calls her photographs, extend connect graphic invention with bodily and spiritual experience.
